Volunteering is a key part of life at ERMA.
As many of you know, volunteers are part of what makes Eagle Rock so special. As parents and caregivers become more involved, a sense of community develops, creating a rich environment for all family members, especially the children! Volunteers who come on campus* are able to get to know the kids a lot better and they are always so excited to see their parents and caregivers at school. Those who help from home play a huge part too – so if you aren’t able to come on campus, you can still be involved. NEW THIS YEAR: Parents are now able to get hours by attending PTA meetings monthly! All families are required to do 60 hours of volunteering per year, with an additional 15 per child for siblings.
There are no small jobs at our school and we are entirely reliant on our parents, grandparents and guardians to help.
*You must be fully vaccinated to come on campus. Volunteers who come on campus must also be registered with the district. You can complete that application here. Any questions, please contact the office for details.
We always welcome ideas from parents! We love to incorporate parents’ skills, talents and interests into life at ERMA. If you have an idea, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
